ABOUT THE SHOW:
Prepare to be dazzled as each of our 12 dancers takes the stage to perform two incredible routines—a graceful ballroom number and a fiery Latin dance. From the elegance of the waltz to the sultry moves of the rumba, and the high-energy beats of the cha-cha-cha to the show-stopping flair of the jive, every routine is choreographed to amaze. After eight weeks of intense training, these brave participants are ready to bring their best to the dancefloor and compete for the coveted Strictly Rowcroft trophy.
ABOUT ROWCROFT HOSPICE:
As an independent charity, Rowcroft Hospice provides expert care and support to local people with life-limiting illnesses, many of whom are facing the hardest times imaginable. Each year we support over 2,500 patients and their loved ones, with 80% of people cared for in their own homes across South Devon, from Dartmouth to Dawlish and up onto Dartmoor. For patients whose complex needs cannot be met at home, we also provide care, support and specialist services in our 12-bedded Inpatient Unit in Torquay. We deliver our services free of charge to adults, helping to make every day the best day possible and enabling families to share precious moments together.
We would be unable to provide our essential end-of-life services without the generous support of our local community who fund the majority of our care. We are forever grateful for this support, particularly through these tough times in which hospices across the UK are struggling with financial challenges.
