CAMERON MILLS
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Living in Devon all of his life, Cameron has always loved anything music, media and performing arts.
Cameron has extensively toured the UK and Ireland, performing to sold-out audiences at world-renowned venues such as The National Concert Hall of Ireland in Dublin, as well as being recognised and nominated for awards such as the ITV Classic Brit Awards, Best in Music Award and appearances on BBC Television and radio stations across the world.
Cameron has guided many musicians with their music, with one of his biggest successes being the Amazon chart-topping single 'A Million Dreams' by Bow Community Primary School, reaching Number 2 in the official Amazon music pop chart! This resulted in it being streamed, downloaded and viewed tens of thousands of times. This even caught Hugh Jackman’s attention, with a personal message from the man himself!
Cameron’s experience within the music industry is vast and he has worked with a diverse range of artists, bands and celebrities including, Billy Idol, T'Pau, The Sex Pistols, Girls Aloud, Peter Andre, Boney M, JLS, Jamie Laing, Janice Street-Porter CBE, Eamonn Holmes OBE, Alex Broker, the list goes on...

Cameron was honoured to win highly commended for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 at the Entreconf Awards for his work creating Cameron Mills Group.

ISABELLA ROWLINGS
ADMIN & PA TO CAMERON MILLS
Isabella is originally from Kingston-upon-Thames before relocating to Exeter in 2018 and loves Devon. She has worked in Business Administration for two years in the Charity sector. Isabella is a mother of twins.
Loves: festivals, travelling, gigs, beaches, nature and quality time with friends and family.​

KAT WHITE
BRAND & MARKETING MANAGER
Kat manages all of our branding, design work, marketing, website and social media. She has worked in marketing for over 20 years across the arts, broadcasting, travel & tourism, finance and more. For the last 10 years, she has worked as a freelance copywriter and marketing consultant.

Loves: dogs, her boys, puns, singing, cooking and orange & poppy seed cake.​

EMMA BOALCH
FINANCE
Emma grew up in Devon, where she worked in her family’s hotel and pub from a young age. She later moved to London to study at the London College of Fashion, where she lived and worked for several years after, before returning to her Devon roots.
With a background in retail and marketing, Emma has worked for a number of distinguished brands throughout her career.
Loves: An adventure, spending time with family and friends, music, the beach, and a good party.
BEN GREEN
STUDIO 54 MANAGER & YOUNG SONGWRITERS AND PRODUCERS COURSE LEADER
Benny G has been producing music for over ten years, running Exeter's Studio 54 for the past five. In that time he's worked & learned with some of the best - John Cornfield (Muse, Oasis), Charlie Francis (REM, Toyah Willcox), Chris Sheldon (Biffy Clyro, Feeder) & Phil Johnstone (Robert Plant, The Levellers). Ben's productions have been played on Radio 1, 2, 4 & 6, featured on CBBC, Comedy Central & stadiums around the UK.

Ben's a busy guy - he's also the talented course leader for our popular Young Sound Engineers and Young Songwriters sessions.
​
If he's not teaching or in the studio you'll find him on the stage, playing bass with Pattern Pusher or helping another band out with his multi-instrumental skills.

JAMES MARDON
ROCK PROJECT EXETER ASSISTANT MANAGER & GUITAR TUTOR
James has been playing guitar for 17 years, studied music at college and university and has a degree in Professional Musicianship. When not teaching, he performs in a few bands and as a solo musician up and down the country, as well as tours in Norway, Poland, Czech Republic and festival appearances in the UK and Romania. He enjoys most styles of music including jazz, rock, blues, classical, folk and heavy metal.

Loves: gigging, writing, recording and performing music live, travelling and animals.
OLIVER BURGESS
ROCK PROJECT PLYMOUTH MANAGER & GUITAR/BASS TUTOR
Oliver is a multi-instrumentalist with more than two decades of experience in music. Holding a bachelor of arts degree in music, specialising in performance and technology, he has a wealth of experience both on the stage and behind the scenes.
More recently he has spent his time playing shows with his band, tutoring and instructing as well as working alongside youth music clubs and SEN schools focusing on musicianship and the development of students of all levels and abilities.

SIMON MARSH
ROCK PROJECT PLYMOUTH ASSISTANT MANAGER & DRUM TUTOR FOR THE ROCK PROJECT EXETER/PLYMOUTH
Simon picked up the drumsticks at three years old and hasn’t stopped since. By 12, he was already performing with his first band, which was only the beginning.
Simon has since toured extensively across Europe and the UK, playing at iconic festivals and venues—from Aberdeen to Moscow. Some of his standout moments include performances at the legendary Reading Festival, Brixton Academy, and The Camden Roundhouse.
Alongside a rich discography of studio work and live performances, Simon has also done extensive session work, further honing his versatility as a drummer. Now, he channels that expertise into drum tutoring, transforming students into confident, influential players through his dynamic and passionate teaching style.

JOE ANTONIO
YOUNG BROADCASTERS COURSE LEADER & THE ROCK PROJECT EXETER BASS TUTOR
Graduating from Bangor University in 2014 with a BA in Music/Spanish, Joe teaches the piano and the drums. He also produces high-quality music productions for commercial events and agencies.
“I’ve always enjoyed getting into the studio and exploring sound design, with so many genres of music influencing me over the years … I love how music unites us all”.
When Joe’s not teaching classical piano or complex drum rhythms to the next generation of young artists, you may find him behind the decks mixing his favourite Drum & Bass tunes, in the studio, or on stage performing in various bands!

Joe especially loves Latin-American music, food and culture due to his mother’s Colombian heritage!
KATE KEYWORTH
ROCK PROJECT PLYMOUTH VOCAL TUTOR
Kate has been singing all her life and has recently graduated with a first class honours degree in Music at the University of Plymouth. She has been teaching in her local area for nearly 5 years.

LUCY ATKINSON
IMAGE AND STYLE LEAD
Lucy’s ancestral heritage is deeply embedded in the arts. She knew there was no point in fighting it, so she studied Costume & Theatre Design at the London College of Fashion. Moving to Brighton she had a chance meeting with legendary rock photographer Fin Costello, they worked closely together for many years producing album covers, editorial & promotional shots for Aled Jones, Lemmy (Motörhead), AFI, Bruce Dickinson and Cradle of Filth to mention a few. Lucy’s side of the partnership was artist liaison, styling sets, costumes and make up.
The wanderlust caught up with her and she moved to Western Australia where she expanded her career; styling for iconic Perth luxury fashion brand Ruth Tarvydas, set styling & making for Phenomenon Events and Personal Stylist for local bands & private clients. She also spent 4 years as the Project Manager, Set Stylist & Artist Liaison for the Big Day Out, Soundwave, Origin & Disconnect Festivals, supporting artists such as Iggy Pop, Marilyn Manson, Slash, Lily Allen, Muse and Eagles Of Death Metal.
She moved to Devon a year ago and is embracing everything this wonderful county has to offer.

ROCK PROJECT EXETER DRUM TUTOR (GROUP AND 1:1)
Ben is our Wednesday evening drum tutor for The Rock Project Exeter.
Ben has 25+ years of drumming experience and is a regular on the Devon gigging scene from pop, funk, rock, nu metal. He teaches both group and 1:1 lessons here at CMG.

JAMIE McGOWAN
MUSIC PRODUCER & TALENT BOOKER FOR VERN ALLEN GROUP
Jamie is one of our liaisons with the Vern Allen Group. Jamie has been a gigging musician from the age of 15, and he is the frontman of the rock group GT. When not on stage Jamie is often found in the studio mixing, mastering or creating original music for our clientele.

Amelie is a talented bass tutor for our Rock Project sessions in Exeter. She also provides extra assistance for students who need 1:1 support.

Charlie has been drumming for over nine years and for the past two of those, he's been teaching in the local area in and out of schools.

Alex Barton is a dynamic and adaptable electronic musician who stands out as a true pioneer of the drum & bass genre. He makes music that is both evocative and dancefloor-ready. His contagious energy and unmistakable talent makes him the perfect, inspiring leader for our Young DJs course.

Lewis has lived in Exeter for 20 years and has been working with Cameron for 4 of those! He started out as an apprentice teaching assistant and then came back as one of our drum tutors.

DAVID ANDREWS
CREATIVE LEAD, VERN ALLEN GROUP
David is the creative lead for our partners, the Vern Allen Group. He is responsible for photography and video production and looks after our recording studio.
With a keen eye for detail and an ever expanding knowledge of digital production in both visual and audio fields.
David has spent over 20 years within the entertainment industry as a holiday park entertainments team member, manager and cabaret act. David has performed his own brand of comedy, magic and stunt show at venues across the country and Europe.

Loves: reading, learning new skills, motorbikes and coffee.
DANIEL WILLERS
YOUNG ANIMATORS COURSE LEADER
In 1998 Daniel graduated from Plymouth University with a BA Hons in Fine Art.
In 2010 he was selected for a place at the NCCA, Bournemouth University, on their prestigious Masters Degree program in Computer Animation. Since then, Daniel has worked extensively as a CG Generalist, and has gained experience and knowledge working in different creative roles for many studios which include Paramount Pictures and Aardman.
Daniel is the creative lead at Yellow Mouse Studios, and is currently working with BBC, Pfizer, The National Trust and music projects with Universal Music, 740 project, Sony and Warner music. He will be leading our Young Animators course which we're excited to add to our program very soon.
Loves: music, animation, cooking and skateboarding.
CHRIS ANGLE
LIVE GIG AGENT & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER FOR PLYMOUTH
Chris has lived in Devon all her life and spent 25 years working in local government. In this time she was involved with putting together many events across Plymouth City working in partnership with other Plymouth businesses and agencies.
Chris has a passion for all things music and the arts, having sung for many years in a ladies choir. She was also the choreographer for a local amateur theatre company for 5 years.
Loves: the beach, singing, travelling, gigs and her grandchildren.

CHRIS BROOKS
YOUNG COMEDIANS COURSE LEADER
Chris has spent the last two decades working as a comedian, actor and spoken word artist performing at many of the South West’s most prestigious venues. He has written, starred in, and directed several one man shows.
Chris is a qualified teacher who has taught drama, comedy, performance poetry and storytelling to children and adults of all ages and he has run countless courses and workshops that have helped to nurture and develop novice and emerging acts during the early stages of their evolution.
Loves: music, literature, folklore, and creating and inspiring fun and laughter with words and language.
THEO MILLER
APPRENTICE
Theo is our apprentice from Exeter College and works for us across the group. He has a passion for rock and heavy metal drumming and is in his own band, Midnight Revolution.
Loves: music, drumming, Italian food, family and friends, performing on stage.

GEORGINA BROADHURST-TENNANT
THE ROCK PROJECT EXETER VOCAL COACH (VOLUNTEER)
Gina has lived in Devon her whole life. She studied at The Academy of Music and Sound for 4 years and following this, she graduated from the University of West London with an FDA in music and sound.
Gina has enjoyed watching and participating in the performing arts from a young age. She has been singing for 8 years and can play multiple instruments.
Her favourite genres to sing are musical theatre, heavy metal, folk and jazz.
Loves: musical theatre, metal, animals, performing and travelling.

PHIL WHITE
DRUM TECHNICIAN & MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Phil is fanatical about all things drumming-related. He's the drummer in a disco funk band and a rock band, and restores and sells drum kits. He's also the man for any practical job around the CMG building.

Loves: drumming, entertaining, dogs, travelling, positivity and life in general.
MICHAEL PARKER
ROCK PROJECT GUITAR TUTOR
Born in Exeter, Michael played the violin from the age of 8 to 14 before he threw in the towel, but years of playing assemblies and in orchestras had given him a feel for music and a good ear. He played in many local and university bands before joining a local post-rock band, Appliance, as the bassist. They recorded and released a vinyl EP, and two further EPs and singles for independent labels, finally signing to Mute Records in 1999. With Mute, they released three albums, six singles and yet another EP before disbanding.​
SOPHIE PHILLIPS
IN-HOUSE DESIGN & ILLUSTRATION
Sophie recently graduated from the University of Plymouth with a first class honours degree in Illustration, and she joins us to work with Kat on our illustration and design needs.
In her spare time, her artwork revolves around her love of music, designing gig posters and branding for music festivals.
Loves: rock and metal music, gigs, the beach and good food.
JACK WHITE
ROADIE & SESSION/STUDIO ASSISTANT
Jack plays the drums, guitar and piano. He loves to perform live and you will often see him assisting at our sessions or in the studio. He is also the world's best roadie and heads on the road with Cameron and the band for their live shows across the country. It just so happens that his name is quite musical too!
