YOUNG HAIRDRESSERS AND BEAUTY THERAPISTS
We have partnered with HAIR IN THE COMMUNITY to deliver this exciting, one of a kind course.
During this course you will be learning different hair and beauty skills, as well as spending some time developing your personal and social skills with other students and making new friends.
Our hairdressing and beauty sessions take place on Tuesday nights at the following time:
4.30pm - 6.30pm (from 7 years old)
The session is held at a purpose-built salon on Kimberley Rd, a stones from our Coombe Street centre.

Our Young Hairdressers and Beauty Therapists course teaches students the essentials of hair and beauty, working with a qualified hairdresser and beauty therapist. Here’s what students can expect:

COURSE LEADER
Our Young Hairdressers and Beauty Therapists sessions are led by Kat Parsley.
Kat is the Administrator, Exams Officer and SEND Manager at Hair at the Academy and has worked there for 2 years. Before working at HATA, Kat specialised in working with vulnerable children and adults in a variety of settings such as care, teaching and employment. Kat is also a qualified teacher.
